William Fiske

William Fiske was signed by Nottingham Forest from Blackpool in 1914. Having served previously in the Norfolk Regiment, Fiske was recalled to the army at the start of the war. Whilst on leave from the front he played several games for Forest during the 1914/15 season. In 1918 he was killed serving with the 8th Battalion Border Regiment. His body was never recovered and he is commemorated on the Soissons Memorial to the Missing.
